The Retina XDR display has all the benefits of al OLED panel without the drawbacks. The screen is another reason that this laptop far exceeds any of its competition. The performance/watt ratio is phenomenal.

That being said, the battery life is why I am deciding to keep this laptop, as it far exceeds the battery life on ANY windows laptop I have ever used. The M1 Pro processor, despite being the base model, is more than capable of handling all workloads thrown at it without difficultly. This laptop is by far the greatest piece of engineering that I have had the privilege of using. And please dont say this is for pros only, having a good computer shouldnt be gatekeeped from anyone able to get one, and getting one is better for longevity and resale value. It should last many years before it starts begging to be put to rest.
I definitely recommend this laptop for those who are able to get it. Performance: 5/5 has been flawless so far (didnt test games yet and not sure i will)īattery: 5/5 excellent and way better than most premium laptops out thereĬooling: 5/5 fans didnt even turn on yet no matter what i did, it only gets just a tad bit warm after about an hour of use

MacOS: 4/5 so far not 100% sure yet as its my first Mac Notch: dont care honestly (neutral) and most of the times you dont see it, and its hidden when u fullscreen contentīuild quality: 5/5 excellent and as expected from a premium apple productīluetooth and wifi connections works perfectly fine Fingerprint sensor: 5/5 fast and larger than previous iterations
